I am humbled by the huge response from so many individuals, businesses and organizations since I announced that I was running for Supervisor!
The good news is that that overwhelming response means that under Sacramento County's complex campaign rules, we have already maxed out on contributions for 2021. The bad news is that means we cannot accept any more contributions this year.
The "election year" starts January 1, 2022, and to win this race, we will have to hit the ground running - so please stay tuned for an announcement for our next fundraiser in January, 2022!
NOTICE: Sacramento County election laws limit contributions in an election year is $1200 per person. A married couple may give $2400 but both must sign the check. PACs, businesses, and organizations may contribute $2500.
WARNING: Chapter 2.115 of the Sacramento County Code regulates contributions to campaigns for County elective office. Before making a contribution to my campaign, please read Chapter 2.115, and in particular sections 2.115.255, 2.115.260, 2.115.300 and 2.115.310 to determine if your contribution complies with chapter 2.115. For more information on these codes, please contact the Sacramento County Elections Office at (916) 875-6451.
Contributions are not deductable for state or federal tax purposes.
