SACRAMENTO METROPOLITAN CHAMBER PAC ENDORSES PAT HUME FOR SUPERVISOR.
SACRAMENTO — Today the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber Political Action Committee (Metro-PAC) endorsed Pat Hume for the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors in District 5.
“Pat Hume is a proven regional leader through his work to drive economic development and create coalitions across geographic and political lines to tackle real issues,” said Metro-PAC Board Chair Chelsea Minor. “Pat has been a champion for the business community, especially our small businesses. It is because of Pat’s understanding on the important role public policy plays in creating jobs and driving inclusive economic prosperity that the Metro-PAC has endorsed him for Sacramento County Supervisor.”
“One of my top priorities is to take real action to get our economy back on track,” said Hume. “Metro-PAC is on the front lines fighting for opportunity, prosperity, and more jobs. I’m honored to have earned their support.”
The Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber Political Action Committee is joined by other area business groups including Region Business, Sacramento Association of Realtors, California Apartment Association, and the Builders Exchange in supporting Pat Hume.
Hume has already been endorsed by the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’, Sacramento County Probation Association, State Coalition of Probation Organizations, as well as the Elk Grove and Sacramento Police Officers Associations.
Pat Hume was elected to the Elk Grove City Council in 2006, and overwhelmingly re-elected three times, most recently in 2018 when he earned nearly 60% of the vote. District 5 includes the cities of Elk Grove, Galt and Isleton, and Rancho Cordova; along with the unincorporated communities of Rosemont, Wilton, and the Delta.
